Returning home from a project in Hull we grabbed this opportunity to use the drone to capture the power station. It is hard to just drive by when the sky is offering such contrast.

The north west's Salford Quays and Media City are a fantastic site to film with the drone, day and night. We especially love this night time aerial photograph.

Probably the coldest day of the year. On behalf of Greg Harding Photography, for Andritz, we took some drone shots of this biomass plant in Sheffield. The plant provides energy by converting recycled waste wood in to energy.

We were flying the drone to capture the architects who were surveying the site. A magnificent building to film with a great backdrop of Liverpool’s skyline. We flew the drone outside and then did some interior drone filming of the inside of the dome. The colours inside were magnificent. Great views of the northwest of england.

Lunar worked with Manchester Town Hall to operate the drones from Albert Square to photograph and video the cityscape. A logistical challenge to isolate the square from the public during the filming but certainly worthwhile.

Our brief was to create a promotional video using drone aerial filming. The focus was to illustrate the setting of the apartments and the views from each floor. They are using the marketing video for foreign property investors.

We had a short timescale, but were lucky to have a great weather window in Salford and Manchester, so we were able to get some great shots. Even if it was 4am starts!
