Asian wedding in Harrogate

Raj and Rash wanted to add that extra WOW factor to their wedding video and what better way than to include some fabulous drone footage? Their videography company, Viva la Wedding had worked with us previously. “Lunar Aerial Imaging were so professional,” says company director, Jo Howard, “They had all the health and safety considerations carefully planned, they were friendly and flexible on the day and the footage they delivered was phenomenal! For us they were a natural choice for this glamorous Asian wedding.”

Raj and Rash were married at the beautiful Pavilions of Harrogate in Yorkshire. The necessary permissions for flying our drone were granted, so a few weeks before the wedding date, our drone pilot, Greg, visited the site to complete the CAA prescribed site assessment, get the lay of the land and gain a clear idea of what shots might work for the big event.

On the wedding day, we stayed for the whole day and despite some heavy rain we managed to capture some stunning footage that encompassed the vibrant atmosphere and the contagious and happy energy felt by the newly weds and their guests.

Jo and Guille at Viva La Wedding specialize in photography and videography for weddings from a wide variety of cultures. Their considerable experience in covering Asian weddings means they have an excellent understanding of how to get the best from the often busy and action packed day in a calm and focused manner. It was a pleasure to work with Guille and his team and we look forward to many future collaborations!

Viva la Wedding are big fans of aerial videography at weddings, “For us having drone shots really is the icing on the cake. It adds an extra dimension to the footage and speaks volumes about the grandeur of the occasion!”

Lunar has subsequently gained CAA permission to fly at night and we look forward to capturing some evening wedding party shots. If the lighting is right and the buildings are lit up, the world is a different place and the video and stills reflect this. There shall be nights to remember!
